Do you feel guilty for not spending enough time with your dog? Do you need to bond with your new pet? Have you had a bad experience and are uneasy leaving your dog at a grooming shop? Did you just go to the dog park? We have your answer: Do it yourself at SCRUB A DUB DOG WASH!
We provide everything for you and your pet to create a perfect bathing experience each and every time:
- Temperature-controlled water to prevent scalding or freezing your pet.
- Four elevated tubs (one for small dogs, two for medium to large dogs and one for extra large dogs) keep you from bending over and straining your back like you would at home. Each tub comes with its own restraints to keep your dog inside the tub and not trying to jump out.
- Waterproof aprons help to keep you dry even when your pet shakes and tries his best to give you a bath too!
- Rubber scrubbies are used to get to through your pets coat to rid their skin of dirt and dander and help get them extra clean.
- Chamois towels help with absorbing the excess water off your dog before heading into the drying room.
- We also supply you with cotton balls and ear cleaner to remove dirt and wax from your pets ears.
Shampoos
The shampoos we provide come highly concentrated and are always diluted to the correct consistency in small bottles. There is no limit to how many bottles you use. We want your pet to be clean as a whistle! They are also tearless and all natural. Our selection consists of:
- Sensitive Skin- for dogs who have allergies and are extremely sensitive to dyes and perfumes
- Lavender and Chamomile - to soothe irritated skin due to dryness or over bathing
- Whitening - to brighten white coats
- Deodorizing - special formula for any dog who is "extra stinky"
The next 4 shampoos are the same formula just different scents:
- Wild Berry
- Honey Almond
- Aloe
- Cucumber Melon
For our furry friends that have skin issues we have these shampoos. Please note that because these are specialty shampoos there is a $2 charge. There is also no limit to how many bottles you use. We have:
- Medicated - for oily skin and dogs that have skin infections
- Oatmeal - for itchy,dry,flaky skin that is in need of moisturizing
- Best Shot - for double coated breeds that need help deshedding
Please note any pet that has fleas or ticks will need to be bathed in our flea/tick shampoo to get rid of those critters. There is a $5 charge. We do not dip dogs, only your vet will provide that service.

An additional charge of $2 for every five (5) minutes applies.
Drying and Grooming
Once your dog is clean,you can head over to our drying room and take advantage of our force dryers. They are much better than the hand held ones you use at home and speed up the process. They also help our extra hairy dogs get rid of that loose coat! Once you are content with how dry your dog is, we provide you many different brushes, combs, rakes and dematting tools to finish the job. We have toenail clippers, but if you are a little uneasy about doing it yourself, we can do it for you!
For those who enjoy grooming their own dogs,you are more than welcome to use our facility to keep your home clean. You have the facility at your disposal and you are charged based on the time you take. You may also rent clippers, blades, guide combs and scissors if you do not have your own.
- Clippers - $20/hour(including blades and guide combs)
- Scissors - $5/ hour
